we need a geographical reference.

"Hanging out in Yaounde, playing futbol, raising a cow"

Yaounde is the capital of Cameroon.

The "Raise" in the "Raise a Cow" splashed-milk text is a bit difficult to initially make out. Could do with some slight reworking to make it a bit clearer.

Otherwise looking good

Umm, I don't really have a comment on your t shirt, but was wondering how its going? I put a comment on the original short essay about the idea and was wondering what you thought...

Jessica,

Please accept the invitation to this blog.

Responding to your post in the original post, yeah, we want this to be an informal and part time network that does good thing creatively.

I think it's important to lower the cost of participation and yet avoid the syndrome of "fire and forget" charity where you delegate all decisions to the professionals. This is going to be an amateur philanthropy network. It will not replace the professional, but it will complement the various effort to lift the burden of humanity.

Thanks Dody, have accepted:) Got some examples of how MED is done on ground that I'll share soon, keeping in mind the idea is to go through nomad'ers in a non prof way, could be a rough guide for those in developing countries...

i like the scholarship idea of the program. remember that many countries do not offer free schooling. in my village students pay the equivalent of 30-50 usd to start the school year. they have to buy textbooks and uniforms. something only mentioned at the bar is that some of their mothers may have prostituted themselves to get the money. as for the cows, i have a good lead from duylinh "i will be posted in near Balleyara. someone told me that the landscape there is awesome and they make the best bread ever. also, i think balleyara has west africa's largest animal market. pretty cool huh?"
