This is the original short essay on the idea of a world wide distributed nomad fund.
Johnny is working on a set of original t-shirts on a nomadfund campaign theme we call "raise a cow" that will be available shortly. No cow was harmed in the design process.
We are still waiting for a couple of people to finish their evaluation of the first funding opportunity for nomad fund to invest on. On the while, we are trying new and innovative way to get people involved and support this initiative.
By nature, we are bootstrapping this program and starting it small and improve it incrementally. Yeah, this sounds crazy, but hey, we live in a crazy world and it calls for crazy ideas.

actually I have found the chicken farmer near my city (Semarang, central java, Indonesia), it's incredible fast to produce chicken, it's only 35 days to "harvest" the chicken but since the bird flue has came again although not all, it made everybody think to eat chicken so not good market for now.
Well, I'll support this anyway if I can help.. too sad to read elementary student kill themself coz can't pay the exam or even just buy a book. Recently suicide become more 'popular' between Indonesia children, soo sad.
I need more details. What do you have in mind?
I try to find farm with effectively not so high cost, fast growth and small (detail capital I'll give u later, it's in my office). Chicken is definitly 1 of the answer if we want to invest small capital with effective result based interview with farmers. I have spread this idea to local network incase someone interest to take a part of it.
but like I said before, the bird flue has came again in some part of Java like Jakarta and several area in central java so maybe I'll find another idea/farm/small enterprises/cooperation for this.
